The Save Our Star Inn campaign is now officially launched and the first Community Meeting was held on 16th January 2020. This was incredibly well attended with nearly 150 people squeezing into the Village Hall with standing room only.

The enthusiasm from attendees at the meeting for this potential Community Purchase was fantastic. And, the Bid is also fully supported by the Parish Council, who have already generously contributed to the Feasibility Fund.
We still need more Friends of Save Our Star.
Our Feasibility Fund target to cover Due Diligence is £ 7,500. As at 1st February we have received total donations of £ 6,696 which is great, but still leaves us short. Please help us to achieve this target if you’ve already donated thank you, but could you spare a little more? If you you haven’t yet please help us now - there’s an application form in the ‘Document’ section of‘More’.
